Montessori education is a unique approach to learning, one that has been demonstrated to provide better outcomes for children socially, emotionally, and academically. For your child to be most successful, it is important to find a school that is the right fit not only for your child, but also for your family.

Some suggestions for researching and finding the best school for your family include:

  1. Schedule a school tour: Please join us during our morning work cycle to observe our vibrant classroom communities in action. Call us at 770-814-8001 or click here to schedule a convenient time. When visiting Montessori schools, you should observe the following:
    • Children moving about the classroom, selecting work and activities that are meaningful to them.
    • There should be a steady “hum” of activity as children are encouraged to work together and help each other.
    • The environment should be clean, organized, and pleasant. There should be live plants, a comfortable area for reading or resting, and aesthetically pleasing artwork and wall décor.
    • Snack should be available for children to enjoy individually or with a friend, rather than at a set time.
    • The posted community schedule should include an uninterrupted work period of 2 ½ to 3 hours for Primary classes and 1 ½ to 2 hours for Pre-Primary classes.
    • Montessori practices throughout the school and throughout the day.
